Leadership Development Academy

Within every organization there are leaders. Those who lead are charged with the responsibility for the team, department, division or group to be successful. They usually report to someone at a higher level of authority. Successful organizations understand the need to provide quality leadership development training to maximize employee productivity, to create a positive and motivating work environment, to accomplish the mission and to reach established goals while retaining employees. Existing leaders that wish to enhance and improve upon their performance and those wanting to advance their career opportunities into leadership positions will benefit from learning new skills and developing more competencies required of leaders in today’s world.

The Leadership Development Academy will emphasize basic leadership competencies and styles, and ethical practices. It will also cover areas of resiliency, power and influence skills, and how to better balance personal and work life through wellness and mindfulness behaviors. Participants will complete self-assessments to understand more about their own personal strengths and challenges, and will engage in role plays and scenarios to gain practical experience with the skills and competencies presented.

Attendance will be limited to 15 participants for the maximum benefit from the training.

Dates: September 4, 5 and 6
